so disappointed

planned to go for drinks after work yesterday... long time since i patronised my fav. spot near city hall... but due to e stupid fact that i COULDNT get a cab, i had to change my plans... went somewhere w/i walking distance fr my work place.. i didnt mind going to raffles lounge for drinks coz e ambience is not bad, n i luv e interior its so european style that made me fell in luv with e first time i walked past...

stepped into that gorgeous place n got a nice place to sit... then.... tried desperately to get a waiter to take down my order... BUT that was after desperate calls to 2 waiters b4 some1 was sent to take it... i was calling out to one of the nicely dressed gentlemen v clearly saying that i wanna order my drinks, he nodded his head n walk away!! it was still ok that he walk away to get some1 else or something lidat but he went directly to another table to clear up the rubbish... n it was not only 1 but 2 such waiters!! can u believe it.. i mean if u canttake order at least be courteous to say that u will be getting some1 else to do that n excuse yourself..

i mean if u think abt it which is more impt in this senario?
there's totally no queue at the door of the restaurant, plenty of clean empty tables...

should u:
1. sit new guests
2. take orders for ppl who are desperately hungry or thristy
3. clear the table


let me tell u what i think after being away fr f&b for 2 years...

its definitely no. 2!!! no doubt abt it..


nvm.. i bear with all that nonsense n finally place my order.... n waited for quite some time b4 they finally found e bottle n cleaned it up mayb? they probably found it at the bottom of e carton or something lidat...


den the stupidest thing that can ever happen.... the idiotic waiter who was attempting to open the wine bottle broke the cork right into half with the cork still in the bottle!!! omg... what kind of fumble is that? n that stupid man still tried to hide that fact by using his body to cover!! i gotta complain, i really gotta complain!!

den we moved to another table so we could play billard n they charge me for using that table!! idiot place!!


e price is not that affecting me but i gotta say its kinda over-priced compared to fullerton, e service is bad... cant even open a bottle of wine properly... i sure m disappointed...

with all the fumble... i m quite sure i wun go back there for drinks only... dinner mayb...
