brought mama out today... with my dad... celebrating her 5*th birthday (not supposed to reveal her age) hehe... bb n i bought her a present from soo kee... its a pair of earrings... didnt take a picture of it coz they arent too big.. probably not that noticeable... but well... cant risk having something that's screaming too bling either... but i know mama loves it... coz i picked them... lolx...


was supposed to be waiting @ the entrance for mama... purposel went on time so that she wun miss me... but 10 minutes into the suggested time there's still no sign of her... den i tried calling..

den finally went to lao beijing... but my dad wasnt here yet... so we decided to order without him, since he eats anything...

i kept diggin my brains on what i should order.....

looking @ my wrinkled up face, bb thought why no juz order the set den we can quit thinking... mama insisted on getting the cheaper set meal so i could save $$... but i think she juz dun wan to drink the shark's fin soup n the complimentary red wine...

not bad... the sauce covering the fish made it less dry... so it was juz complimenting the deep-fried fish... which didnt have any fishy smell..

i was getting so full that i couldnt realli stomach this, but the peeled scallops tasted realli rich in favour...

1st time i eat such big slices of aloe vera... didnt knew that they tasted so queer... its like a sort of raw veggie feeling but its not... still ok but dun give me a bigger portion... thanks...


Lao Beijing serves good food... serious... consider giving me a vip card k?! den i will bring all my frenz n relatives there for birthdays or juz plain dinner?

ps: dun put brocoli can liaoz....

btw fyi: nydc cafe is one of the places that REFUSES to serve brocoli... not even if u pay 'brocoli-age' charge (as in corkage charge) i'm serious... go scrutinise their menus seriously...
