Exclusive Love

Do you believe in exclusive love? I always think that everyone would just love that ONE person totally at one time and only THAT someone. Perhaps things changed, or maybe its just human who are fickle have changed. Although I haven’t seen the world, I think I have seen quite a fair bit. From singles, couples, divorcees and even married ones. Half of them have had an “affair”.
So what is exclusive love?

Is it telling your special someone the evergreen phrase “Darling, I love you?” and yet behind your partner you are found in the arms of another? Obviously not, some would say.
Or is it just sticking to that particular partner forever regardless of whatsoever? Maybe, some would agree.

As for me, I see things from both sides. Perhaps one might be more biased but still..
I think love is selfish, that’s why so many people are not willing to let go of what they have at the moment in pursuit of what might or might not be better for them. Just because the future is a big unknown. Simply because they forget what is “exclusive love”.

Human get lost, I’m human too. I can’t remember how many times I’ve found myself almost drowning. Thankfully, I have friends who would pull me back to shore.
And still there’s this special person who is always there waiting for me. Regardless of the mistakes I have made, the joyous moments that we share, he’s always there for me.

He’s my exclusive love.
